On 2 April, Chinese Embassy in Myanmar held the Award Ceremony for "Zheng He -- China Facts Quiz". Ambassador Guan Mu, Counsellor Yu Boren and Counsellor Wang Ruiqing attended the ceremony and awarded certificates and prizes to the First, Second and Third Prize winners.

Counsellor Wang Ruiqing in his address expressed his congratulations to the 194 Myanmar friends for their winning prizes. Counsellor Wang said that the "Zheng He -- China Facts Quiz" hosted by the Chinaculture Website (www.chinaculture.org) not only was an important window to know China, but also brought positive effect to the Sino-Myanmar traditional friendship. The First Prize winner Miss Yang Jinyu said that, holding "Zheng He -- China Facts Quiz" is beneficial to deepening the Myanmar people's understanding of Chinese culture, and also to consolidating and developing the Sino-Myanmar traditional friendship. Thanks for the support and encouragement rendered to the participators by Ministry of Culture of China and Chinese Embassy.
After the Ceremony, the new Chinese film "Bright Heart" was projected.
On 5 April, Chinese Embassy in Myanmar as well as Consulate-General in Mandalay will award prizes to the winners for "Zheng He -- China Facts Quiz" in Mandalay.
