In order to promote the Myanmar People's understanding of Chinese culture and national situation and deepen the Pauk Phaw friendship between the Chinese and Myanmar people, Ministry of Culture of PRC and Embassy of PRC in the Union of Myanmar held the "Knowledge Contest on the Website of Chinese Culture" which had gained active response and participation of the vast Myanmar young students, teachers and the people interested with Chinese culture.

Therefore, on 26 DEC 2004 Embassy of PRC in the Union of Myanmar held the Awarding Ceremony of the "Knowledge Contest on the Website of Chinese Culture". Ambassador Li Jinjun and other embassy leaders attended the ceremony. After the address presented by Cultural Counsellor Wang Ruiqing, Daw Ei Ei Zaw, lecturer of Department of History, Yangon University of Foreign Studies and Ma Ei Ei Lwin, student Department of History, Yangon University of Foreign Studies respectively gave their presentations. The vast participators conformably thought that through this contest, they had a better understanding of Chinese culture, yearned more towards China with long history and civilization, and cordially hoped that neighborly friendship between the two countries could be consolidated and developed continuously.
