'2004 Get-together Party between Chinese and Korean Embassies in Myanmar Held

On the evening of 17 December 2004, all officials in the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Union of Myanmar are invited to theAmbassador's Residence of the Republic of Korea in Myanmar for a get-together party.

The meeting of two Embassies officials brightens the campus in greeting each other as old friends. Such get-together party being held every year has become not only a link to enhance mutual understandings and deepen friendship, but also a symbol of friendly exchanges between the two Embassies.

Korean Ambassador Lee Kyung-Woo extends warm welcome to Chinese Ambassador Li Jinjun and party with a speech in Chinese,speaking highly of the great achievements in cooperation on fields of politics,economy,science and technology as well as culture etc. between the two countries after the establishment of diplomatic relationship,cordially hoping the friendship between the two peoples would last forever and pass on for generations. In an answering speech,Ambassador Li Jinjun extends thanks on behalf of all the staff of the Chinese Embassy to Ambassador Lee Kyung-Woo and Madam for their kindness and hospitality. He says, the two peoples have close contacts and exchanges since very ancient time,which serves as a firm foundation of deep friendship established long ago. In recent years,the good-neighborly and friendly relations between China and Korea has been constantly consolidated and strengthened with joint efforts. Ambassador Li believes the two countries will continually make further progress through friendly cooperation now and in future.

Then, the scene of the Sino-Korea kara Ok song party begins with a song called"Friends"sung by the two Ambassadors hand in hand."Friends will go together all life long······". The happy party is filled with joyful Chinese and Korean songs in turn,putting the warm and happy atmosphere to the climax.
